3rd Austin Asian Occasion
The 3rd Austin Asian Occasion was held on Saturday May 29th at Long Center about 450 people attended to celebrates Asian Pacific American Heritage Month as well as fundraising for the Ronald McDonald House, a charity whose mission is to provide accommodation for families with children who need major medical care. The Winners Concert for the 5th Young Musicians Festival also showcased their talents in the event while contributing to a great cause. The pre-show included Austin Taiko, Natural Style Kung Fu and Texas Dragon Lion Dance Team. The programs included Magic Dragon Kids, Japanese classical ad folk dance, the Love of China “flying fairies,” April Rain Dance School “Snow Mountain” Tibetan dance, Chinese choir, Korean Folk Dance, Gypsy Dance.
